　　中国石化新闻网讯 据烃加工网站9月16日消息 荷兰皇家壳牌有限公司宣布了一项最终投资决定，将在荷兰鹿特丹壳牌能源和化工园建设一座年产82万吨的生物燃料工厂，该工厂原名Pernis炼油厂。一旦建成，该设施将成为欧洲最大的生产可持续航空燃料（SAF）和由废物制成的可再生柴油的设施之一。

　　如此规模的设施可以生产足够的可再生柴油，每年可避免280万吨二氧化碳排放，相当于100多万辆欧洲汽车的排放量。

　　新设施将帮助荷兰和欧洲其他国家实现具有国际约束力的减排目标，同时还将帮助壳牌公司实现自己的目标，即到2050年成为净零排放能源企业，与社会在实现巴黎协定气候目标方面取得的进展同步。先进的生产方法将用于制造燃料，该设施预计将使用技术捕获制造过程中的碳排放，并通过Porthos项目将其储存在北海下方的空气田中。Porthos的最终投资决定预计将于明年作出。

　　Shell to build one of Europe’s biggest biofuels facilities

　　Royal Dutch Shell plc (Shell) announced a final investment decision to build an 820,000-tons-a-year biofuels facility at the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Rotterdam, the Netherlands, formerly known as the Pernis refinery. Once built, the facility will be among the biggest in Europe to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel made from waste.

　　A facility of this size could produce enough renewable diesel to avoid 2,800,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions a year, the equivalent of taking more than 1 million European cars* off the roads.

　　The new facility will help the Netherlands and the rest of Europe to meet internationally binding emissions reduction targets. It will also help Shell to meet its own target of becoming a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050, in step with society’s progress towards achieving the climate goals of the Paris Agreement. Advanced production methods will be used to make the fuels. The facility is expected to use technology to capture carbon emissions from the manufacturing process and store them in an empty gas field beneath the North Sea through the Porthos project. A final investment decision for Porthos is expected next year.
