陆上钻探的钻机数量增加了13部，共计267部。内陆水域钻探的钻机数量保持不变，仍为1部。海上钻机数量也保持不变，仍为14部。

美国石油导向钻机数量增加12部，至205部，去年同期为713部。天然气导向钻机数量增加了1部，至74部，比去年同期减少63部。

在主要的石油和天然气生产州中，德克萨斯州增幅最大，共增加7部，至123部。犹他州增加3部，总计3部。俄克拉荷马州和怀俄明州各增加了2部，钻机数量分别达到14和3部。北达科他州和西弗吉尼亚州各增加1部，分别至11和8部。

Baker Hughes: US rig count up 13 to 282

The US drilling rig count jumped 13 units to reach 282 rigs working for the week ended Oct. 16, according to Baker Hughes data. The count is down 569 units from the 851 rigs working this time a year ago.

The number of rigs drilling on land was up 13 week-over-week with a total of 267 units. The number of rigs drilling in inland waters was unchanged at 1 unit for the week. The number of rigs drilling offshore was unchanged at 14.

US oil-directed rigs increased by 12 from last week to reach 205 units. This time a year ago, 713 units were drilling for oil. Rigs targeting gas increased by one unit to reach 74 rigs, 63 fewer than were drilling for gas at this time a year ago.

Of the major oil and gas-producing states, Texas saw the largest increase. With a 7-rig increase, Texas saw 123 rigs running for the week. Utah gained 3 rigs for the week for a total of 3. Oklahoma and Wyoming each saw a 2-unit increase to reach 14 and 3 rigs running, respectively. North Dakota and West Virginia each gained a single rig to reach 11 and 8, respectively.

Five states remained unchanged this week, New Mexico, 45; Pennsylvania, 18; Ohio, 6; California, 4; and Alaska, 2.

Louisiana is down 2 rigs for the week to reach 38 rigs. Colorado dropped a single rig to reach 4 units running for the week.

Canada’s rig count was unchanged for the week. At 80 rigs, the count is 63 fewer than the 143 units drilling this week a year ago. At 40 units, Canada’s oil-directed rig count is up 1 unit for the week. The gas-directed rig count in Canada is down 1 unit to 40.
