    中国石化新闻网讯 据能源新闻9月25日消息称，据Kallanish Energy报道，美国8月份化学生产区域指数上涨0.6%。

    美国化学理事会表示，7月增长1.0％，6月下降1.4％。

    美国CPRI是按三个月移动平均水平衡量的。

    8月份，除西海岸外，所有地区的化学品产量都有所增加，因为该行业正努力从疫情影响中恢复过来。

    与2019年8月相比，美国化学品产量同比下降4.8%，这是连续第15个月同比下降。

    但ACC说，这在过去几个月里是一个进步。

    在美国，化学工业市值达5650亿美元，是美国最大的工业之一。

    制造业是化学品的最大使用者，96%的制成品涉及化学品。

    US chemical production up 0.6% in August: ACC

    The U.S. Chemical Production Regional Index rose 0.6% in August, Kallanish Energy reports.

    That follows a 1.0% increase in July and a 1.4% decline in June, according to the American Chemistry Council.

    The US CPRI is measured on a three-month moving average basis.

    During August, chemical output expanded in all regions except the West Coast as the industry struggles to recover from the coronavirus pandemic.

    Compared to August 2019, U.S. chemical production was down 4.8% on a year-over-year basis, the 15th consecutive month of year-over-year declines.

    But that was an improvement over the last several months, the ACC said.

    The chemical industry is a $565 billion enterprise in the U.S., making it one of the country’s largest industries.

    Manufacturing is the largest user of chemicals and 96% of manufactured goods involve chemicals.
