　　过去的2021年，世纪疫情与国际变局持续交织，我国“两个一百年”奋斗目标历史交汇，中国与世界在激荡中复苏，企业和个人在磨砺中前行。

　　这一年，在中国，许多行业与企业迎接着全新的发展机遇和行业趋势；这一年，为中国，世界500强与行业领先企业的商业领袖们变中求新、变中求进，深耕中国，携手共进，共创未来。

　　今年的“CDF之声”栏目邀请参会代表分享过去一年来自己与所领导的企业、所在行业的经历以及他们的感悟。

　　今天做客CDF之声的是英国太古集团行政总裁施铭伦（Merlin Swire）。

　　施铭伦首先向北京在全球疫情期间成功举办冬奥会表示祝贺。他认为，这场象征着团结和进取的国际盛会在全球疫情期间具有重要意义。

　　去年，施铭伦经过两周入境隔离，在17天内先后到访三亚、海口、深圳、广州、上海、武汉、成都、西安及北京等城市。

　　他与各地方政府官员交流，考察集团项目，并与当地员工进行交流。他看到百姓生活如常，包括生产、消费在内的经济活动秩序井然，也了解了各地政府的新发展计划以及对高质量外资企业的欢迎，增强了对未来的信心。

　　他提到，太古扎根中国已经有156年之久，太古在中国的发展史，就是“在中国、为中国：共赢未来”的生动写照。

　　施铭伦表示，太古对未来充满信心，将继续扩大在中国的投资与贡献。同时，他也对再度来到中国感到热切期盼。

　　我在伦敦向大家问好！

　　首先，我要祝贺北京成功举办了第24届冬季奥运会，这是象征着团结和进取的国际盛会，在全球疫情期间具有重要意义。我也感谢中国发展高层论坛提供的另一个重要交流机会，让我们分享在中国的经验。

　　太古扎根中国的历史可追溯至156年前。我们有幸见证了长期以来中国发展、变化、复兴的伟大历程，也十分荣幸可以参与其中。可以说，太古在中国的发展史，就是这次活动的主题“在中国、为中国：共赢未来”的生动写照。

　　2021年4月，经历了为期两周的入境隔离，我展开了疫情当中令我最难忘的一次中国之旅。

　　我在17天内先后到访三亚、海口、深圳、广州、上海、武汉、成都、西安及北京，我与政府官员交换意见，考察集团内外令人兴奋的发展项目，并与当地员工进行交流。我看到百姓生活如常，包括生产、消费在内的经济活动秩序井然。

　　尤其令我印象深刻的是我参加了太古可口可乐武汉工厂新生产线投产仪式。过千员工展现的面对疫情的勇敢、展望未来的乐观令我感动。从京津冀城市群、长江经济带到粤港澳大湾区，我所到的城市均位于中国内地重要的经济发展区域，是中国区域经济发展的引擎。了解了各地政府的新发展计划以及对高质量外资企业的欢迎，当然增强了我们对未来的信心。

　　即使在新冠疫情的冲击之下，太古集团仍然持续加大在中国的投资。我很骄傲地向大家分享，2021年集团旗下各个板块在中国内地都取得了长足进步，例如太古地产在中国内地的第六个项目上海前滩太古里九月开业伊始，就成为上海的商业新地标；太古可口可乐投资超过9亿元人民币在郑州建设新工厂，是其在中国内地的最大单笔投资。在医疗保健领域，我们宣布了数笔投资，包括投资心血管医疗服务为特色的创新医疗服务集团上海德达医疗，和睦家医疗网络中规模最大的深圳新风和睦家医院等。

　　我坚信，合作与信任是迎接挑战的最好方式，尤其是面对新冠肺炎疫情。

　　面对2021年新冠肺炎疫情在各地带来的挑战，太古积极助力当地政府抗疫，例如西安。作为全球领先的航空货运供应商之一，国泰航空集团共运送超一亿六千五百万剂新冠疫苗抵达全球。当郑州遭受水灾侵袭，太古捐款捐物协助救灾和社区救援。太古也将持续积极助力通过高质量发展实现共同富裕，尤其是在欠发达地区提升医疗水平、促进教育公平等。自2019年起，我们很荣幸与中国发展研究基金会合作，在青海乐都、贵州毕节等地助力提升儿童早期教育水平。

　　信心与合作对于走向更好的明天至关重要。作为深耕中国的跨国集团，太古一直对未来充满信心，并承诺扩大在中国的投资与贡献。古语有云，志合者不以山海为远。这诚然不假，但我仍热切盼望下次可以真正跨越山海，再度回到中国拜会我的老朋友们。

　　Greetings to you all from London！

　　Firstly， I would like to congratulate Beijing on successfully hosting the 24th Winter Olympic Games， an international sporting event symbolising unity and progression， which is of great significance amid the global COVID-19 pandemic． I would also like to thank the China Development Forum for offering yet another opportunity for us to share our experience in China．

　　Swire’s bond with China dates back 156 years． We have had the privilege of not only witnessing， but also participating in， the remarkable journey of change， development and re-emergence that China has been on through this long period， and we are extremely grateful to have had that opportunity． Indeed， the history of Swire in China embodies the theme of this session “In China， For China – Together for a shared future”．

　　In April 2021， after a two-week quarantine， I had one of my most memorable visits to China amid the pandemic． During a 17-day tour， I visited Sanya， Haikou， Shenzhen， Guangzhou， Shanghai， Wuhan， Chengdu， Xi‘an， and Beijing． I had the chance to exchange views with government officials， to see exciting new developments both inside and outside of our business， and to talk to our local teams． What I saw was people living normal lives and the economy - both production and consumption - running in an orderly manner． What left me with the strongest impression was my visit to Wuhan where I attended the commissioning for Swire Coca-Cola Hubei’s new production line． I was deeply moved by stories of the bravery shown by our over 1，000 staff in Wuhan during the COVID outbreak， and by the optimism they expressed about the future． The cities I visited are all located in major economic development zones in the Chinese Mainland including Jing-Jin-Ji Metropolitan Region， Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Greater Bay Area． Those are the engines of China‘s regional economic growth， and the new development plans of those local governments， combined with a message of continuing welcome for foreign investments of high quality， certainly boosted our confidence going forward．

　　Despite COVID-19， we at Swire have been accelerating our investment in China． I‘m proud to share that in 2021， Swire’s businesses made some big steps forward in the Chinese Mainland． For example， Taikoo Li Qiantan， Swire Properties’ 6th project in the Chinese Mainland， has become a new landmark in Shanghai upon its launch in September． Swire Coca-Cola has invested more than 900 million yuan to build a new bottling plant in Zhengzhou， which is the largest single investment the bottler has ever made in the Chinese Mainland． In the healthcare sector， Swire has announced its investments in DeltaHealth， an innovative healthcare services provider specializing in cardiovascular diseases， and in Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital， the largest hospital in the United Family Hospital network．

　　I am convinced that cooperation and trust in one another is the best way to address challenges， especially those brought by the COVID-19 pandemic． In 2021， we witnessed some local outbreaks around China， during which Swire helped local governments such as Xi‘an in their fights against the virus． The Cathay Pacific Group， as one of the leading operators in the global air cargo industry delivered over 165 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines worldwide． When Zhengzhou was hit by heavy rainstorms， Swire donated money and materials to support disaster relief and community assistance． We are committed to playing our part to support the realization of common prosperity through high quality development in China， especially in the areas of medical care and educational equality in less developed areas． We are really pleased to have had the opportunity to be working with the China Development Research Foundation since 2019 in improving early childhood education in Ledu， Qinghai Province， and Bijie， Guizhou Province．

　　Confidence and cooperation are vital to a better future together． As a multinational company with its roots deep in China， Swire remains confident about the future and we are committed to expanding our investments and contributions in China． As an old Chinese saying goes， “Nothing， not even mountains and oceans， can separate people with shared goals and vision”． This is true， but nevertheless I look forward very much to the next time I am indeed able to cross the mountains and oceans and visit old friends in China once more．
