Caviar, a luxury brand based in Dubai, recently unveiled a series of Huawei smartphones inspired by Chinese culture and history. The collection, named "Dragon Spring," showcases the brand's expertise in precious metals and exquisite craftsmanship.
Two standout models from the series are the "Forge Dragon" and "Yellow River." The Forge Dragon is an evolution of the Huawei Mate X6, featuring a sleek black titanium alloy body with unique texture inspired by ancient Chinese multi-layer sword forging art. This technique originated in Lu'an City and pays homage to centuries-old craftsmanship. The Yellow River model is based on the Huawei Mate 70 RS Pro and adorned with stunning 18K gold engravings depicting China's iconic Yellow River - considered the cradle of Chinese civilization symbolizing perseverance and continuous progress. The intricate details in the engraving make this smartphone not only aesthetically pleasing but also a testament to nature's beauty and human intelligence.
Each variant of these phones will be limited to only 88 units, marking the significance of the number eight in Chinese culture as a lucky charm signifying prosperity.
Additionally, Caviar introduced another variant called Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design Gold Dragon in September; it features a double electroplating technology on its all-gold body and showcases complex dragon patterns inspired by ancient Chinese sword-making art.
The Forge Dragon (512GB version) retails at $12200 (890,000 RMB), while the starting price for the Yellow River (512GB version) is at $11490 (830,000 RMB).
