EEX整合Powernext和Gaspoint Nordic

欧洲能源交易所(EEX)宣布成功整合Powernext和Gaspoint Nordic。在1月7日发布的一份声明中，EEX表示它现在提供之前巴黎能源平台Powernext和丹麦Gaspoint Nordic上提供的所有的现货和衍生产品，包括10个国家的天然气产品，所有产品都在一个规则手册和单一交易所会员制度下提供。在EEX收购Powernext和Gaspoint Nordic后，这两家交易所产品曾在EEX的Pegas平台上交易，但现在都将在EEX的主要交易平台上交易。这次整合紧跟EEX最近的其他进展，2019年12月，这家总部位于莱比锡的交易所在收购纳斯达克能源市场(Nasdaq energy market)后，成功地将第一波合约从纳斯达克期货(Nasdaq Futures)转移至EEX自有平台。

新加坡交易所（SGX）表示,它已经与香港新永安国际金融控股公司旗下永安国际金融(新加坡)签订协议,后者成为其会员,且是2020年第一位会员。SGX在2019年下半年保持了强劲的客户增长势头，特别是针对对冲在中国和亚洲更广泛地区风险敞口的公司。永安国际成为SGX衍生品市场第66家会员，也是继该交易所在2019年11月底签约经纪商ADM投资者服务新加坡公司(ADM Investor Services Singapore)及其第二家韩国会员三星期货(Samsung Futures)之后，最新加入该市场的会员。SGX正努力将自己定位为为那些寻求对冲其在所有资产类别和整个亚洲地区(包括中国和快速增长的东南亚经济体)风险敞口的公司提供一站式服务的机构。

CME和OCC报告显示2019年交易量下降

芝加哥商品交易所集团(CME Group)和期权清算公司（Options Clearing Corporation,OCC）均公布2019年交易量略有下降。CME公布的数据显示，2019年的年成交量下降2.8%，低于22亿手。2019年度跌幅主要是由外汇市场造成的，从2018年起，外汇市场交易量下跌了14%，合约总量为2.17亿份。股指期货合约减少3.5%至8.11亿份；农产品期货合约增加8%至4500万份；利率衍生品合约保持11亿份基本没有变化。美国股票期权市场OCC 2019年的日均合约量下降5.4%至1970万份。在资产类别中，股票期权交易量下跌3.7%至1,750万手，指数期权下跌15.6%至190万手。

EEX integrates Powernext and Gaspoint Nordic

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has announced the successful integration of Powernext and Gaspoint Nordic. In a release on January 7, EEX stated it now offers on its exchange all the spot and derivatives products previously housed on the Paris-based energy platform Powernext and Danish Gaspoint Nordic. This includes natural gas products for 10 countries, with all products being available under one rule-book and a single exchange membership. Following acquisitions Powernext and Gaspoint Nordic products had been on EEX’s Pegas platform but they will both now be on EEX’s main exchange. The integration follows other recent developments at EEX. In December 2019 the Leipzig-based exchange successfully moved the first wave of contracts from Nasdaq Futures after its acquisition of Nasdaq energy market.

Yongan International Finacial becoming SGX's latest derivatives member

The Singapore Exchange said it had signed as a derivatives member Yongan International Financial (Singapore), the Singapore-based arm of Hong Kong-based Xin Yongan International Financial Holdings, which becomes its first new member of 2020, maintaining the strong client momentum it developed in late 2019 from firms keen to hedge their exposures in China and across Asia more broadly. Yongan International becomes the 66th member of SGX derivatives market and the latest to join the segment after the exchange signed brokers ADM Investor Services Singapore and Samsung Futures, its second Korean member, in late November in 2019. SGX is trying to position itself as the one-stop shop for firms seeking to hedge their exposure across all asset classes and the entire Asian region including China and the fast-growing economies of south-east Asia.

CME, OCC report lower 2019 trading volumes

US markets CME Group and Options Clearing Corporation have reported slight drops in 2019 trading volumes. Statistics released by CME show a drop of 2.8% for annual volume to just under 2.2 billion lots in 2019. The annual drop was mainly driven by foreign exchange which declined by 14% from 2018 to a total of 217 million contracts. Equity index contracts fell by 3.5% to 811 million, agricultural products increased by 8% to 45 million and interest rate derivatives remained constant at 1.1 billion lots. US equity options market OCC saw its average daily contract volume fall 5.4% to 19.7 million a day for the year 2019. Within asset classes equity options fell 3.7% to 17.5 million and index options declined 15.6% to 1.9 million lots.
