BP’s global management was aware of “significant safety problems” at the Texas City refinery and 34 other locations around the world well before last year’s deadly explosion at the US plant， investigators said yesterday. The US Chemical Safety Board said internal BP documents prepared between 2002 and 2005 revealed knowledge of those problems before the March 2005 explosion killed 15 and injured 500 people in and around BP’s biggest refinery. 据调查，在去年英国石油公司(BP)得克萨斯城炼油厂发生严重爆炸前很长时间，该集团管理层就已知道该工厂和全球其他34个炼油地点存在“重大安全问题”。 美国化工安全委员会表示，英国石油2002年至2005年的内部文件显示，在该集团最大的炼油厂2005年3月发生爆炸之前，该公司就已知道存在上述问题。那次爆炸导致炼油厂内部及周边15人死亡、500人受伤。 董 莉
