ICE阿布扎比分所将于3月29日开业

洲际交易所（Intercontinental Exchange）表示，将在获得美国衍生品监管机构批准后于3月29日推出首个总部位于中东的交易所。该交易所ICE Futures Abu Dhabi（IFAD）原定于2020年上半年开业，但ICE于上个月表示将推迟至明年初。届时，将上市19项能源合约，其中包含世界上第一份以阿布扎比原油为基准的合约。

EEX将推出新天然气相关期货及价差合约

欧洲能源交易所（EEX）将于2021年第一季度推出以欧洲天然气现货指数（ESGI）为基准的现金结算期货合约，以及称为spark价差合约的相关现金结算价差合约。Spark价差合约使得会员可以交易新天然气期货合约和德意志交易所现有电力期货之间的价差。

Eurex专注于中小型并购

欧洲期货交易所（Eurex）首席执行官表示，随着欧洲交易所面临越来越大的业务扩展压力，Eurex将采取专注于中小型并购的战略，渴望继续扩大其交易所、清算、指数和数据业务。

ICE to launch Abu Dhabi exchange on March 29

Intercontinental Exchange has said it will launch its first Middle East-based exchange on March 29 after securing approval from the US derivatives regulator.ICE Futures Abu Dhabi（IFAD）was originally due to go live in the first half of 2020, but ICE said last month the launch would be moved to early next year, when the venue is set to list 19 energy contracts including the world’s first based on Abu Dhabi crude oil.

EEX plans new gas futures and spark spreads

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) will launch in the first quarter of 2021 cash-settled gas futures on the European Gas Spot Index (ESGI) and associated cash-settled spreads known as spark spreads.Spark spreads enable members to trade the price difference between the new gas futures and the Deutsche Boerse-owned exchange’s existing power futures.

Eurex to pursue small and medium-sized acquisitions

Eurex will pursue a merger and acquisitions strategy focused on smaller and medium-sized transactions, its chief executive has said, as European exchanges come under increasing pressure to scale up operations.Michael Peters, who was named Eurex CEO as part of a management reshuffle by parent Deutsche Boerse in June, told the FIA Expo-V event on Wednesday the German exchange giant is keen to continue to scale its already vast exchange, clearing, index and data business.
