The National Electric PowerAuthority (NEPA)now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualifiedbidders forsupply and installation of 1,000 HT Metering Panels atvariouslocations in Nigeria.The delivery period is twelve(12)months.Bidding will be conducted through theInternationalCompetitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in theWorld Bank抯Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits(May2004), and is open to all bidders from eligible sourcecountries asdefined in the guidelines.Interested eligible biddersmay obtainfurther information from the first address below andinspect thebidding documents at the first address below from 1000to 1700hours (Nigeria time), weekdays. A complete set of biddingdocumentsin English may be purchased by interested bidders on thesubmissionof a written application to the second address below anduponpayment of a non refundable fee of N 14,000 or US$ 100. Themethodof payment will be Certified Bank Cheque in favour of NEPA.Thebidding documents will be collected at the NEPA-PMU Office orsentby courier upon an additional payment of N 14,000 or US$ 100forEurope and West Africa, or N 28,000 or in US$ 200 for allothercountries as a Demand Draft payable to the Manager, PMU, NEPAatAbuja not later than 18 August 2005 to cover the delivery.TheDemand Draft should be accompanied by a letter head of thedesirousparty requesting for transmittal of the documents givingreferenceto the bid number and the title of the bid.All bids mustbeaccompanied by a bid security of not less than US$ 100,000 oranequivalent amount in Naira or an equivalent amount in afreelyconvertible currency and must be delivered to the firstaddressbelow at or before 1230 hours on 15 Septr, 2005.
