The tive of study is: (i)i dentification of awetland conservation area west of theNingbo-Shanghai Bridge,including any necessary land improvements;(ii) conceptual designfor an Environmental Education and ResearchCenter in thedesignated wetland area, including cost estimates; and(iii)formulation of a TOR for a more comprehensiveenvironmentalmanagement plan study for the whole Cixi coastline tobe fundedunder the GEF projectContract 2: Ningbo-Cixi wetlandprojectconstructed wetland study. The tive of study is: the firstphase ofthe study will clearly define the tive of the constructedwetlandprogram and prepare alternative constructed wetland designswithoutconsidering land requirements. The second phase of the studywillconsider land-related issues and arrive at thepreferredconfiguration of wetland design and land use. The outputfrom thestudy will be a feasibility level study to enable theCixiMunicipal Wastewater Company and Cixi City Government toclearlydefine the detailed designs, construction andoperation/maintenancestages along with associated costs.The NingboWater and EnvironmentProject Management Office (NWEPMO) now invitesdomestic consultantsto indicate their interest in providing theservices.
