威海万丰镁业科技发展有限公司是万丰奥特集团控股、镁合金领域专家参股的承担国家科技部十五“863”计划镁合金专项中“高强高韧镁合金材料的研制及其在汽车上的应用”课题单位，公司主要产品为镁合金车轮及其他零部件。
三、项目建设条件
公司现有生产检测设备：镁合金熔炼系统，高压铸造单元、低压铸造单元和重力铸造单元、车铣加工中心，喷丸机组、微弧氧化处理线、喷漆线，主要检测装备有X射线、探伤仪和直读光谱仪等。
技术力量：公司拥有国内外一流的镁合金专家和优秀技术人员组成的强大研发队伍。采用计算机辅助设计、制造和分析软件进行研发和设计，同时具有模具设计开发能力。

本项目主要开发生产镁合金摩托车车轮及其他零部件，首期设计生产纲领镁合金车轮、其他零部件50万件生产能力，

镁合金作为实际应用中最轻的结构金属材料，在汽车的减重和性能改善中的重要作用受到广泛重视。我国是摩托车生产、消费和出口大国，也是潜在的汽车生产和消费大国，因此，镁合金产品的前景十分广阔。

项目总投资720万美元，其中：自筹资金360万美元，贷款或与外方合作360万美元。
七、经济效益分析
项目投产后，年销售收入可达12500万元，利润总额2520万元。预计每年可上缴企业所得税830万元，增值税700万元。
