r (HSRDP)and intends toapply part of of the Proceeds of the grant to covereligiblepayments under the Contract for which this invitation tobid isissued.2. The Ministry of Health and Sanitation now invitessealedbids from eligible bidders for Construction of thefollowing:Lot 1:Store and Office spare for MalariaControlProgramme (MCP).CentralMedical Store Compound,New England VilleFreetownLot 2: Store andOffice for EnvironmentalHealth Unit, (EHU)ClineTownFreetown.Bidders may bid for nay one or both contractlots asfurther defined in the bidding documents. Bidders wishingto offerdiscounts in case they are awarded both contracts will beallowed todo so, provided those discounts are included in the Formof Bid orsubmitted in writing before the deadline for bidsubmission.All Bidsand Offers of discount shall be opened andevaluated simultaneouslyso as to determine the bid for combinationof bids includingdiscounts offering the lowest evaluated solutionfor the employer.3.Bidding will be conducted through the NationalCompetitive Bidding(NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’sGuidelines;Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and isopen to allbidders from eligible source countries as define intheguidelines.4. Interested eligible bidders may obtainfurtherinformation from Ministry of Health and Sanitation at theaddressgiven below from 0900 to 1700hrs weekdays5. A complete setofbidding documents in English may be purchased by interestedbidderson the submission of a written application to the submissionof awritten application to the address below (1) and upon a paymentofa non refundable fee of Le250,000 (Two Hundred and FiftythousandLeones).6.
