REQUIREMENTS(a) Knitting Yams:-Thejersey is to be made from 100% wool materials with worstedspurns of2 fold with two ends of the folded yams knitted together.The yamsare to be free from short fibres. The jersey body is to beevenlyknitted from 2x2 ribs construction throughout using 13.7mmof yamsper stitch and 11.7mm of yams per stitch at the bottom weltrib. Theknitting is to ensure that when the garment is stretchedby hand thejersey width and dimension does not get damaged.(b).JerseyConstruction:- The jersey is to be madein design and styleas perour sealed sample standard pattern. However thefollowingconstruction pattern shall apply.(1) There shall be samenumber ofends knitted together in all part of the garment, witheach bodyPiece-having side seams equal to the number of ribs as perthejersey size.(2) The sleeves are to be knitted to the samestiffnessas the upper body fabrics and sleeve cuffs are to beknitted as thebody welt rib.(3) The neck fabric is to be of 2x2 ribknitted atleast as tightly as the lower body fabric. The fabric isto befolded to form a double neckband approximately 3 cm wide.(4)Thejersey is to have straight body and set in sleeves withsimilarnumber of ribs across the width at the chest and the bottomwelt asper our sealed sample pattern.(5) The sleeves shall besuitablyshaped between the elbow and cuff to ensure they arepositioned tothe body and they lie naturally at an angle of 80° 84°when laidout for inspection on a flat surface.(6) Seaming shall beby three(3) thread over lock including at least one thread of woolhaving 4stitches per cm of seam. The end of the seam are to beneatly andsecurely finished off with side seam bar tacked at thewelt. Theshoulder and arm hole seam are to be reinforced with 15mmwoventape,(7) The sleeve seam is to be reversed to the outside forcuffsto allow neat appearance when they are tuned back and cuffstoallow neat appearance when they are turned back and cuff tobeadditionally seam covered using a wool cover thread.(8) Thejerseyshall have reinforcing patches at the sleeves elbow andtheshoulders. The patches shall be secured by two rows oflockstitching with a least 4 stitches per cm of seam(9) Eachshoulderpatch shall be rectangular with 18-23cm in total lengthaccordingto jersey size centrally positioned.(10) A shoulder trapmade fromtwo thickness of reinforcing fabric sewn with edges turnedin bylock stitching with at least 4 stitches per cm of seam,andsecurely attached at the top of the sleeve seam. The strap shallbe5 cm wide at sleeve head to 4.5 cm wide near the neck. .(11)Thejersey body width is to be equivalent to the correspondingchestsize.c. Jersey Neck Shapes:- The neck shape of theOlive green,navyblue and Blackjersey Pullovers shall be round shape with neckwidthranging from 17 cm ? 2cm depending on size of the jersey.JerseyBlue grey shall have V shaped neck.d. Mass Weight:- The massweightper 10 jerseygarment shall range from 4 Kg (Small size) to7.8 Kg(Large size).e. Colour Fastness:- The colour fastnessshallconformto requirements given in table.f. Packaging: Jerseypullovers shallbe packed in recommended materials which are waterproof and shallbe delivered in good and neat condition.g.
