Statistics indicated that tourism of Hainan Province kept agoodmomentum of the first half the year, tourism income of theProvincein July reached RMB844 million, up by 18.37% compared withthe sameperiod of last year. In July, the Province totally received1.1148million tourist arrivals at home and abroad, up by 20.58%comparedwith the same period of last year. Of which 1.0906 milliontouristswere from domestic regions and 24.2 thousand tourists werefromoverseas, up by 19.57%
and 95.16% respectively.In the first7months, Hainan Province totally received 8.2167 milliontouristarrivals at home and abroad, up by 31.44% compared with thesameperiod of last year and accomplishing 60.50% of the annualtarget.Of which domestic tourists were 8.0399 million andoverseastourists 176.8 thousand, up by 31.54% and 26.83%respectively.InJanuary through July, total tourism income of HainanProvinceamounted to RMB6.427 billion, up by 32.93% compared withthe sameperiod of last year and accomplishing 61.92% of the annualtarget.Of which domestic tourism income were RMB6.048 billion andforeignexchange of tourism income US$45.6913 billion, up by 33.83%and19.84% respectively.(Information by Special CommissionersOfficein Hainan)
