Imports of Soybean and Corn in July Fell

　　Latest statistics from Customs indicated that import volumeofsoybean in July in China amounted to 1.8 million tons, down by13%compared with the same period of last year. Total import volumeofsoybean in the first 7 months in 2004 reached 10,783,045 tons,downby 12.0%. In July, exports of corn were 157,186 tons,decreasing by89% and amounted to 1,786,785 tons in January throughJuly in 2004with a fall of 78.0%.(Information by Network Center ofMOFCOM)
