Export of agricultural products in the first half stood atUS$10.5 bln, a year-on-year rise of 10.5% despite the impactofanti-dumping and avian influenza.Four traits existed inChina’sexport of agricultural:1. Exports of premium products likeaquaticproducts, gardening products grew fast, amounting to US$2.82 blnand US$ 2.76 bln, up 25.3% and 29% respectively.2. Exportpricegenerally hiked. Unit export price of 27 out of 30big-scaleproducts supervised by MOFCOM climbed up.3.
Grain exportvolumedropped while price rose. In the first half, grain exportreached3.342 tons, valued at US$ 550 mln, down 63% and 48%respectively.Meanwhile, price of rice, corn and wheat hiked 23.5%,30% and23.%.4.
