China has collected a total of 88. 118 billion yuan(US$10.7billion) of individual income tax in the first halfof2004.Compared with the same period of 2003, the revenuehasincreased 15.056 billion (US$1.8 billion) or 20.6percent,according to statistics released by the StateAdministration ofTaxation.The state administration also requiredtaxationauthorities to list new high-income sectors and readjustthe listof new key tax payers.(Information by Network Center ofMOFCOM)
