研究发现高薪职位增速较快

　　Higher-paid managerial， professional and semi-professional jobs have grown faster than any other work in the past decade while the proportion of low-paying， low-skilled service sector work has declined， according to a new study.

　　The findings， by the Work Foundation， emphasise the challenge faced in raising the skill levels of workers to meet the changing needs of the labour market.

　　The Leitch review into skills training， said that 90 per cent of workers would need to achieve the equivalent of five GSCEs at A to C grade by 2020 – compared with 69 per cent currently. Lord Leitch warned that the UK was “on track to achieve undistinguished mediocrity” if it failed to upgrade the skills of its workforce.
