JAKARTA, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Indonesia's crude oil output rose 0.2 percent to 859,000 barrels per day (bpd) last month from December levels as some wells returned from maintenance and February production may increase further, an official said on Saturday. "Indonesia's crude production may be higher in February because some wells will produce at maximum, although the increase may not be much," said the official from oil watchdog BPMIGAS, who declined to be identified. Daily production in December was at 857,000 barrels. Indonesia, OPEC's second-smallest producer, has struggled to maintain output as the country has failed to tap new oilfields fast enough. The country's condensate output fell to 118,000 bpd in January from 120,900 bpd in December. Indonesia has said it expects crude oil and condensate output to rise 4 percent to 1.05 million bpd in 2007 from an estimated 1.01 million bpd last year. Indonesia produced 1.06 million bpd of crude oil and condensate in 2005. The government aims to increase crude oil and condensate production to 1.3 million bpd in 2010.
