据纽约3月14日消息，贸易人士周五称，分析机构Informa Economic预估美国2008-09年度棉花播种面积为916.5万英亩。上一年度棉花播种面积为1083万英亩。 Informa2月预估美国2008-09年度棉花播种面积为907.2万英亩。 其中陆地棉播种面积为893.7万英亩，皮马棉为228,000英亩。
