零售业企业家奖得主郭少明

　　安永会计师事务所2月2日宣布“安永企业家奖”- 中国2006十一位得主。这是安永首次在中国举办这项享誉全球的商业奖项。这项评选活动旨在表彰成功的企业家，见证其卓越的企业家精神，并褒扬其在创造就业、提高中国企业的竞争力以及带动国家经济发展等方面做出的贡献。

化妆品王国源于1978年，郭先生和他的夫人接手经营第一个只有40平方英尺的化妆品柜台。他在化妆品市场中找到了市场空间，能为客户提供折扣优惠。他们的业务因此而迅速发展，很快便扩充至占据了整层地下购物商场。此后，郭先生成功地将莎莎从一个细小的化妆品柜台发展成为一家在亚洲七国拥有逾100家零售店和11家美容中心的化妆品联营网络。莎莎于1997年在香港上市，市值近40亿港元。在过去的10年中，郭先生带领莎莎走过重重挑战，包括亚洲金融危机和非典疫情。目前，莎莎是香港最著名的品牌之一，并于2006年赢得了“国内最受欢迎品牌”和“中国大陆最受欢迎的香港品牌”两大奖项。

　　In 1978, Mr Kwok, together with his wife, established their first cosmetics counter with an area of only 40 square feet. He found a niche in the cosmetics market and was able to offer deep discounts to the customers. The business grew rapidly and soon expanded to occupy the whole basement in the shopping arcade. Since then, Mr Kwok has successfully expanded Sa Sa from one outlet to a network with over 100 retail outlets and 11 beauty centres in seven Asian countries. Sa Sa was listed in Hong Kong in 1997 and has a market capitalization of nearly HK$4 billion. Over the last 10 years, Mr Kwok has steered the company through many challenges including the Asian Financial Crisis and the SARS epidemic. Sa Sa is now one of the most distinguished Hong Kong brands and has won the “Most Favourable Brands of the Nation” award and “The PRC Most Favourable Hong Kong Brands” award in 2006.
