　　Dr. Du is the CEO of Hutchison MediPharma and Chief Scientific Officer of Hutchison Chi-Med, a

　　London AIM listed company.

　　Dr. Du joined Hutchison Whampoa in 2001 and led the global pharmaceutical R&D and related

　　health care investment activities in the Group. In 2002, she founded and became the CEO of Hutchison MediPharma Ltd. (HMPL). Over the past six years, HMPL has established itself as an

　　innovative leader in China Pharmaceutical industry with a rich pipeline and 72 field and approved global applications.

　　Under Dr. Du’s leadership, HMPL has established multiple strategic partnership with global

　　pharmaceutical companies, including Eli Lilly, Merck KGaA in Germany and P&G. In 2006, HMPL

　　has been rated as the Pioneer in China Pharmaceutical R&D by Forbes China. Dr. Du also played a key role in the successful IPO of Hutchison Chi-Med in London on May 19, 2006.

　　杜莹博士现为和记黄埔医药行政总裁及和记黄埔中国医药科技首席技术官。杜博士于 2001 年加入香港著名上市公司和记黄埔，掌管集团的全球医药研发和投资业务。 2002 年，杜博士创立了和记黄埔医药(上海)有限公司并担任董事总经理，从事肿瘤及自身免疫性疾病治疗领域内的药物研发。成立至今，和黄医药已开发出了多个高质量的先导化合物和临床候选药物，拥有 77个国际专利的申报。

　　在杜博士的领导下，和黄医药先后与世界知名医药巨头建立了具有里程碑意义的战略合作，合作伙伴包括美国礼莱公司、德国默克公司及美国宝洁公司。 2006 年，公司被福布斯中国列为中国生物科技新星。 2006 年 5 月 19 日，杜博士筹划并成功将和黄中国医药科技有限公司在英国伦敦股票市场上市。
