　　Dr. Steve Yang is the Vice President, Head of Asia R&D, for Pfizer Global Research & Development. He is based in Shanghai, China. He focuses on establishing and implementing Asia R&D strategy for Pfizer. He is currently a member of Pfizer Global R&D’s Leadership Team.

　　Prior to his current role, Dr. Yang was Pfizer’s Head of Research, Asia. His responsibilities included exploring R&D capabilities of Asia countries, establishing and managing partnerships with biotech companies, academic research institutions, and R&D service providers. Previously Dr. Yang was an Executive Director and the global head of Pfizer Global R&D’s Strategic Management Group.

　　He has extensive experience in business and corporate development, strategic planning, portfolio management, and merger and acquisition. Since he joined Pfizer, Steve led a series of high impact projects in the areas of R&D strategy, post merger integration, and R&D productivity improvements. Dr. Yang served on Pfizer’s Worldwide Discovery Leadership Team and Research Technology Leadership Team in 2004. He was a member of Pfizer’s Research Leadership Team from 2005 to 2007.

　　杨博士现任辉瑞制药全球研发亚太区副总主席兼研发部主管，常驻上海代表处，负责计划与实施辉瑞制药亚洲的研发策略。他现为辉瑞全球研发领导团的成员。

　　在提任为副总主席前，杨博士曾担任辉瑞制药亚洲研究部主管，主要职责包括发掘亚洲国家的研发潜力，与生物科技公司、研究学术单位以及研发服务供应商建立合作关系。在此之前，杨博士曾担任辉瑞全球研发策略管理集团主管以及执行总监。

　　他广泛而丰富的经验涵盖了商业及业务拓展、策略制定、证券管理以及收购兼并等领域。加入辉瑞后，杨博士带领及参与了多个具影响力的研发项目，包括研发策略制定、兼并后的整合管理及研发生产力的改进计划。2004年，他成为辉瑞全球探索领导团及研究科技领导团的成员。2005年至2007年，他加入了辉瑞研究领导团。2003年，杨博士获得了PGRD成就奖。
