2008年度应对全球气候变暖造林项目目的

　　目的

　　1、体现在华外国企业和机构的社会责任

　　在华的外国机构和企业有着强烈的社会责任意识。此次中国绿化基金会和中国国家发改委国际合作中心共同发起此项目，正是为那些热衷于参与社会责任项目的在华外国机构和企业搭建了一个平台。项目紧紧围绕全球气候变暖这一焦点，同时符合中国政府大力倡导的可持续发展战略思想，也是所有在华外国机构和企业表现其社会责任的一个好机会。历史将见证我们这次共同应对全球气候变暖的行动。

　　2、体现全世界在应对全球气候变暖问题上的具体行动

　　此项目参与对象是所有在华的外国机构和企业。不同国家的机构企业共同植树造林，积极履行企业公民的义务，体现共同应对全球气候变暖挑战的决心。这次活动也正落实了APEC会议上胡锦涛主席提出的各国联手应对全球气候变化问题的建议。

　　1. To fulfill the social responsibility of foreign corporations and institutions in China

　　Foreign corporations and institutions in China have strong senses of social responsibility. This program,

　　initiated by China Green Foundation, the International Cooperation Center of NDRC, the News & Information

　　Center of People’s Daily and the Corporate Citizenship Center of Boston College, is to establish a platform

　　for those institutions and companies to express their concerns in this field. Focusing on the problem of

　　global warming, the hot topic of the present world and in compliance with the Chinese government's

　　encouragement for sustainable development, this program provides a good chance for foreign entities to

　　fulfill their corporate social responsibilities. We'll leave it to the history to witness our efforts in responding
